MagicYellow.com is an established online yellow page directory, and we are expanding our development team. We're a big site, but run like a small, entrepreneurial company. The developer(s) will be working on new and exciting projects, as well as maintaining existing sites. Adding features, fixing issues, optimizing, etc. We're a dynamic, small team that's doing big things.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full time developer with ColdFusion and SQL experience. Design, develop, troubleshoot and update database-driven web-based software applications. This is not a contract or short-term project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Strong Knowledge of ColdFusion 5 (will be upgrading to CF 9)
* Strong Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / 2005, including stored procedures
* Experience with large databases
* Experience in a high web traffic environment
* Index and query optimization
* Strong communication skills
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED, BUT A PLUS)
* Experience with any APIs such as Facebook, Google, etc.
* Social Media experience
* Experience in a high web traffic environment
* SQL index and query optimization
* .NET web development
* Server setup/administration (Windows 200x, SQL 200x)
* Experienced working with SQL database replication
* XML
